We are a fourth generation owned and operated farm located outside Chillicothe, Ohio.  This farm was established in 1959 by Harley Welch, pictured here with his team of mules.  Originally a dairy farm, the farm has produced a variety of crops including; hay, potatoes, silage, corn, wheat, and soybeans.  In 1989 blackberries were added to the farm.  Then, in the mid-nineties additional berry crops were added.  Finally in 2005 plasticulture strawberries were added.  Today Welch Farms LLC focuses on providing high quality, fresh strawberries to the local community. The strawberries are produced in a sustainable method and use IPM technology to manage the crop.  We welcome you to come enjoy our strawberries during season (May).
